There different types of Demons so be sure to read over them all before choosing.
Standard Demon
Standard Demons are Devil worshiping, sinners. They usually have black or dark colored wings, but can be any color.
Marked Demon
Marked Demons are demons with a mark of shame placed upon them for a crime they have committed against Hell. This means white wings and they can have a halo. (Yes, this is an exception to the wing color - these angel's wings must be white.) They also have the "name" of their sin somewhere on their body. It can be large or small, but it must be somewhere.
Saved Demon
This is a Demon of God (weird, huh?). Sometimes these demons start off wanting to follow God, sometimes they turn later. They usually have white or light-colored wings, but can be any color.
Angel of Death:
These angels are also known as Death Angels or Reapers. These angels follow the teachings of Death and reap the souls of the dead and bring them to purgatory for judgment, fun times. Usually black wings, but can be any color.
Unrepentant Demons
And finally we have Unrepentant Demons that committed a crime or were not followers of Hell and have turned back and are trying to "un-repent" themselves.
General Information about all Demons
All Demons are immortal and when one kills a Demon that Demon will rebirth. When a Demon rebirths their body breaks down into particles of energy which reforms in a random place, naked and fully healed. Rebirth is a painful process and is draining to the Demon. If you want your character to die off then just simply have your Demon return to the afterlife during rebirth.
A Demon may have been another race other then human. This Demon may have lost his/her previous needs or abilities or may have kept them. Though werewolf Demons will take up a extra slot on their powers list to account for the werewolf transformation. This also applies for any other creature transformation type thing.
All Demons are sterile and they are weakened by holy items and items with holy energy. (Ex. artifacts, weapons, etc.)

Wings:
Demons (as well as Angels) have the option of hiding their wings, at will, from others if they choose. This even applies if it is from other Demons. Also, I have suggested wing colors with each description but they can be any color that you want (unless specified in the description).
